Sadness

For those of you who follow my blog, I thought I would post an update today. The man I was doing the fundraiser for to help pay for his medical expenses associated with his leukemia, my friend, Dale DeSharone, died today. He passed peacefully in the night with his family surrounding him.

Thankfully the family has many friends to support them in this time of grief, including me. So I may be silent for a while as I take some extra time off.

That's all for now.

Kelle: I am so sorry to hear that. I will keep his family in my prayers. Cassie

In 1982, Dale walked into a computer store where I worked and hired me. I was a high school dropout, but he got me started in my career as a programmer. He also taught me to drive, and insisted I learn a musical instrument.

In 1985, I came to work in a daze. My sister had been killed in a car accident. Dale immediately sent me home, and the next day gave me a poem he'd written about her death. Later he hired a therapist who helped me work through the grief.

Dale was a deep and artful man.

I owe a lot to him. Rest in peace, buddy.

I am so very heartbroken to hear of the passing of a dear friend. As I  type the tears falling from my face I remember all those long chats Dale and I shared when he first came to  Massachusetts. He lived with us in a very BIG house on Glenn Rd in Wellesley Ma. He will be greatly missed and always dearly loved. My prayers go out to those he leaves behind. For I know he is in the BEST place ever!

Anyone wishing to get in touch with me or forward this to his family or friends please do so, I can be reached VIA email at SUNSHYNBUNNY@aol.com

Blessings to all who read this. Peace and love always Deb
